U.S. Travel Association's National Travel and Tourism Week is May 1-7, 2016. The annual tradition was established in 1983 and takes place in destinations across the U.S.
Visit Bucks County will be celebrating National Travel and Tourism Week at Washington Crossing Historic Park on Tuesday, May 3 and hosting a Hospitality Information Session and breakfast on Thursday, May 5.

• May 3 Celebrate Tourism Day! at Washington Crossing Historic Park Visitor Center from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m.
The event kicks off at 4:00 p.m. with a brief hospitality awards presentation and the announcement of spring tourism grant recipients. Partners and their families, along with local residents, are invited to stay for food and fun starting at 5:00 p.m. The event will be held rain or shine, but some elements are weather permitting.
Soar into the sky with FREE tethered balloon rides from The United States Hot Air Balloon Team! Rides are first-come, first-serve for children and adults ages 6 and older, weather permitting. Grab some complimentary barbeque and mac & cheese from Mission BBQ, snack on soft pretzels from Philly Pretzel Factory, quench your thirst with refreshments from Corporate Source Catering and cool off with Annie's Water Ice. Enjoy Anywhere Mini Golf, music from Sound Choice Disc Jockeys, Inc., face painting, balloon making and colonial reenactors giving tours. Be sure to spread the word to family and friends! It's all FREE!
