Biker-Friendly Bucks County Puts their Best Gear Forward
2010 PA State HOG Rally Drives Local Tourism

(Bucks County, PA) Harley owners unite! Bucks County, PA will host more than 1,000 Harley enthusiasts from all over the country come together to experience their riding dream during the 2010 PA State HOG Rally. From September 16-18, 2010 bikers will have the opportunity to explore the scenic back roads and culture of biker-friendly Bucks County.

“Bringing the H.O.G. Rally to Bucks County is fulfilling the dreams of many bikers as we share the beauty, culture and rich heritage of this charming county” states Kathleen Weber, 2010 PA State H.O.G Rally Coordinator.

Throughout this three day event, Harley owners will discover winding country roads, covered bridges and the county’s quaint towns and attractions including; New Hope, Pennsbury Manor, Henry Mercer’s Castles, Peddler’s Village, Ringing Rocks Park and many more. Evening activities will offer night rides and delicious themed buffet dinners at the host hotel, Sheraton Bucks County. Dependent upon weather, the ride can bring out more than 3,000 bikers to travel the county.

“The natural beauty of Bucks County has been a longtime favorite among motorcycle enthusiasts,” states Jerry Lepping, Executive Director of Visit Bucks County. “We are thrilled to host the 2010 PA State HOG Rally and showcase our bucolic county as a premiere biker-friendly destination.”

Any National H.O.G. member is welcome to attend and can register for the 2010 PA State HOG Rally for only $30 at the Sheraton Hotel between 9/16 and 9/18. For a complete list of scheduled events, please visit  

PA State HOG Rally Highlights:

4:30pm The Philadelphia Thrill Show- Open to the public and free of charge. The thrill show is sponsored by Brian's Harley-Davidson of Langhorne. It will be held on the Sesame Place main parking lot.

11:00am Castles of Doylestown- Riders will arrive approximately 11:00 am at Fonthill Castle & Moravian Tile Works. The group will also visit the Mercer Museum and Michener Art Museum.
10:30am Bucks County Covered Bridge Ride- The first stop for riders will be the Van Sant Covered Bridge approximately 10:30am.

11:30am Washington Crossing Historic Park Group Ride-  A large group of riders will be police escorted and lead by George Washington and police escort to Washington Crossing Historic Park.

1:30pm Garden of Reflection 9/11 Memorial- A group will approximately 1:30pm at the Garden of Reflection. 
**Each night in the Sheraton Bucks County Hotel a special themed dinner party will be held at 6:00 PM. 
9/16 Thursday will have a Philly theme with Brian's HD hosting a Leather Fashion Show. 9/17 Friday will be Country Night, costumes and room decorations to match, a dance demonstration will be held around 6:45pm.
9/18 Saturday Night will be Roaring Twenties Night featuring a Murder Mystery with a full costume cast and room decorated to match.

Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) is a family based organization comprised of people from all professions including doctors, attorneys and business owners. Each year the rally is in a different location in Pennsylvania. In past years there has been up to 3,500 bikers attend this event.
