2nd Annual Bucks County Bridal Show Packs the House!
Anxious Brides in Search of the Ultimate Bucks County Wedding
(Bucks County, PA) As 1:50pm struck in the Bucks County Visitors Center on Sunday, February 21st, staff peered through the doors to see brides lined up waiting for their chance to speak to almost 40 vendors! From lavish vineyards to historic mansions, from boutique florists to full service entertainment companies, the 2nd Annual Bucks County Bridal Show brought out almost 700 brides and their most trusted confidants to storm the visitors center in search of one thing- the ultimate Bucks County dream wedding!
“Bucks County is such a unique and charming wedding destination, it felt only natural to put together this Bridal Show to showcase the diverse venues and vendors that Bucks County has to offer.” Stated Heather Walter, Wedding Sales Manager at the Bucks County Conference & Visitors Bureau, “The shows success is a great testament that Bucks County is on the map as THE place to have your dream wedding.”
From 2pm to 6pm, Sound Choice Disc Jockeys filled the 25ft. ceilings of the Bucks County Visitors Center with melodic treats with a crowd pleasing intermission by The Franklin & Alison Orchestra & Dance Band who rocked the house with high energy dance music!
With melodic treats in the air, sweet treats on the tables were definitely not to be missed! A Hot Chocolate Bar from Provence Catering warmed up anxious brides while Brother’s Catering provided good food for the soul with healthy servings of Chicken Stuffing Casserole. Food was plentiful, music was energetic and the information was in surplus from vendors such as Peddlers Village, Sheraton Bucks County, Pen Ryn Catering, Bob Egan Entertainment, Synergetic Sounds & Lighting and Flower Girl Florist. With beauty in mind, complimentary makeup lessons and hair trials were provided by The Carriage House Spa and Salon as well as Lashes & Lips owned by National American Miss Pennsylvania, Maria Sciorillo (and Bucks County Native!).
The Bucks County Conference & Visitors Bureau are strong believers in giving back to their community. Therefore they set up the opportunity to have A Woman’s Place, a local domestic violence organization in Doylestown, be able to collect pre-owned special occasion dresses for sale in their Thrift Store with all proceeds donated to their organization. These dresses will also be able to be shared with the women in their shelters. For more information, please visit www.awomansplace.org
