Bucks County Visitors Center Brings in Holiday Cheer with the
4th Annual Holiday TreeFest
(Bucks County, PA) The Bucks County Conference & Visitors Bureau (BCCVB) spreads their holiday spirit with the announcement of the 4th Annual Bucks County Holiday TreeFest opening to the public on Tuesday, November 24th at the Bucks County Visitors Center in Bensalem.
Twenty-five uniquely themed trees will be on display though January 9th, 2010 in the main gallery of the Bucks County Visitors Center. Each tree is decorated according to a specific theme individually sponsored by a member of the Bucks County Conference & Visitors Bureau.
The TreeFest kicks off to the public on Tuesday, November 24th from 5pm -7pm with live music from Bob Egan Entertainment. Don’t forget to bring the kids… Santa will be arriving on a fire truck with Mrs. Clause at 5:30pm and magically turn on all the Christmas lights to the tress with his magic dust!
Through January 10th, local musical talent including local school choirs, orchestras and harpists will join us in the celebration of the holidays. The fun will take place during regular business hours of the visitor’s center from 9am-5pm.
On specific Sundays, November 29th, December 6th and December 13th, Santa will join us for pictures from 1-3pm. All family members are invited! On December 13th, Santa will stay for an extra hour and half until 4:30pm to take pictures with your pet! NEW this year, Jungle Joe of the Bucks County Zoo and Animal Junction will hop over on Sunday November 29th with his array of animals in hand to entertain the kiddies!
**A Pre-Opening is scheduled for Monday, November 23rd from 4:30-6:30pm for BCCVB and Chamber of Commerce members only. Bring business cards and mingle among a winter wonderland of fun!
This is a great community event that the BCCVB coordinates annually to give back to the community free of charge showcasing our local companies working together through the holiday season. The Bucks County Visitors Center is always a host location for Toys for Tots throughout the duration of Treefest. Visitors are encouraged to bring new unwrapped toys to the center to further spread holiday cheer!
Each of the twenty five trees are sponsored by a BCCVB member or on behalf of a charity or non-profit organization, and each tree is decorated according to a theme.
