4th Annual Bucks County Holiday TreeFest Winners Are In!
(Bucks County, PA) The Bucks County Conference & Visitors Bureau (BCCVB) has been spreading holiday cheer since the kick off of the 4th Annual Bucks County Holiday Treefest on November 24th. Twenty five uniquely themed trees were beautifully showcased at the Bucks County Visitors Center, each sponsored by a BCCVB member or on behalf of a charity or non-profit organization. Winners were announced at a January 7th award ceremony.
This season long event brought in thousands of people to the Visitors Center beautifully transformed into a joyous winter wonderland. Local musical talent including local school choirs, orchestras and harpists joined in the festivities as they filled the 25 foot cathedral ceilings with holiday music for a sweet melodic treat. Santa joined us on select Sundays to take pictures with all family members- including your favorite family pet. This year we hosted sixteen dogs, seven cats, two horses and one rabbit!
As in past years, visitors had the opportunity to vote for their favorite tree. All tree sponsors were awarded at an award ceremony on January 7th. The numbers are in and the top five winners are….
1st Place Golden Pheasant Inn Bed & Breakfast
2nd Place River Road Business Alliance
3rd Place Sadie’s Bridal
4th Place Saint Katherine Drexel Mission Center & National Shrine
5th Place Bucks County Zoo & Animal Junction
Please continue spreading cheer with us at the 5th Annual Bucks County Holiday Treefest beginning in November 2010! If your organization is interested in participating in Treefest please contact The Bucks County Conference & Visitors Bureau at 215 639 0300.
