Tourism Grant Applications Due October 1st
Bucks County CVB Reaches Out to Improve Economy through Increasing Tourism

(Bucks County, PA) The Bucks County Conference & Visitors Bureau (BCCVB) Tourism Grant, which aims to aid non-profit historic preservation, improvements of future and existing tourism attractions, supporting the rich cultural heritage & special events in Bucks County aimed at attracting visitors, and funding marketing expenditures associated with the above are drawing near the end of the third round of grant giving.

After a successful first and second successful round that contributed over $300,000 in tourism funds, applications for the third round are to be received by October 1st.

The Tourism Grant Program was instituted for the development and enhancement of the not-for-profit tourism product in Bucks County. The BCCVB supports the grant program from a portion of the proceeds earned with the Bucks County lodging tax. Eligible recipients are limited to non profits or other entities located in Bucks County and are marketing partners of the BCCVB.

The Board of Directors of the BCCVB recognized the beauty of the plan lay with the ability to help develop tourism while benefiting both large museums and smaller organizations such as previous recipients; Bristol Riverside Theater, Michener Art Museum, Pearl S Buck International, Bucks County Wine Trail, New Hope Arts Inc. and Heritage Conservancy.
