Bucks County Visitor Center Brings in Holiday Cheer with the
5th Annual Holiday TreeFest
(Bucks County, PA) Visit Bucks County spreads holiday spirit with the 5th Annual Bucks County Holiday TreeFest opening to the public on Tuesday, November 23rd at the Bucks County Visitors Center in Bensalem. This event is free and open to the public.
Twenty-five uniquely themed trees will be on display through January 8th, 2011 as the main gallery of the Bucks County Visitor Center is transformed into a wintry wonderland. Each tree is decorated by a local business or organization. Sundays with Santa, musical talent, and a special day dedicated to Pet Photos with Santa are a few of the events in the packed schedule of events.

TreeFest kicks off to the public on Tuesday, November 23rd from 5:30pm -7:30pm. Children are welcome to attend and cheer on Santa as he arrives on a fire truck with Mrs. Claus at 6pm to magically turn on the Christmas lights.
Through January 8th, local school choirs, orchestras and harpists will join in the celebration of the holidays. The fun will take place during regular business hours of the Bucks County Visitor Center from 9am-5pm.
On Sundays: November 28th, December 5th and December 12th, Santa will take photos with children from 1-3pm. On December 12th, Santa will stay for an extra hour until 4pm to take pictures with pets. Jungle Joe of the Bucks County Zoo and Conservation Society will hop over on Sunday, December 5th with an array of animals from 1-3pm.
The Bucks County Visitors Center is also a drop-off location for Toys for Tots throughout the duration of Treefest. Visitors are encouraged to bring new unwrapped toys to the Visitor Center to further spread holiday cheer! The Bucks County Visitor Center will also host a drop box for the Holiday Letter for Heroes program. This program provides Americans the opportunity to extend holiday greetings and thanks to service members and their families. The public is invited to send a “Touch of Home” through holiday cards containing messages of cheer and appreciation to our troops.
NEW this year, the Bucks County Holiday Treefest gets social! Be sure to “Check-In” using Foursquare to be entered into a raffle for a Bucks County getaway. Also, tweet your favorite memory of Treefest to @VisitBucksPA to be included on a Social Media themed tree in the gallery.
This year, visitors will get an added bonus when visiting Treefest! Visit Bucks County has teamed up with Shady Brook Farm to provide a $5.00 off admission price to the Holiday Light Show (Sunday-Thursday) once they vote for their favorite tree at Treefest.
