About the Artist:

The purpose of the Churchville Photography Club is to facilitate the enjoyment of the general art of photography, and the education of its members in techniques and theory to enhance that enjoyment. Nature photography was originally the main focus, but as the membership grew, interests quickly broadened to include all forms of the art. The membership list currently includes over 120 names, with members representing all levels of experience from beginner to advanced amateurs and professionals. The Club meets on the first and third Monday of each Monday September through June, and hosts programs by guest speakers, contests, critiques, and nights of short programs given by members. The Club presents month-long exhibits in branches of the Bucks Country Free Library several times a year. Annually the Club hosts an open competition in the Spring, and the recently completed Eighteenth rendition attracted 477 entries from 118 Delaware Valley entrants.
