4th Annual Ancestry Fair Set for September 25th

(Bucks County, PA) Visit Bucks County and The Genealogical Society of Pennsylvania are excited to announce its 4th Annual Ancestry Fair to be held at the Bucks County Visitors Center in Bensalem. The event will be held on Saturday, September 25th from 9am-7pm and is free and open to the public! The fair will feature workshops and lectures, website research assistance, road show and digital conversion of family photographs. 

Representatives from several Genealogical associations will be on hand to answer questions. Please see below for a complete schedule of Workshops and Lectures held throughout the day.

Workshop Topics:
The speakers and schedule are as follows:

10am   Karen Higgins, “Beginning Genealogy, Getting Started on your Family History”
1pm     Margaret Jerrido, “Preservation of Historical Documents”
3pm     Karen Higgins, “Beginning Genealogy, Getting Started on your Family History”
5pm     Kay Freilich & Susan Koelble “Preparing for Joining a Hereditary Society.”

4pm        Jefferson Moak “Hidden Treasures at the National Archives at Philadelphia”
5:30pm   Nancy Nelson & Carol Shaeffer “Online Military Records”
