Bigger than life scarecrow creations are displayed outdoors and compete for over $4900 in cash prizes. Be sure to vote for your favorites! These exceptional pieces of American folk art are displayed in the following categories: The Keystone Krow, Traditional/Whirligig, Extraordinary Contemporary, KidsOnly!, Quite The Character, and Group Crow.

HorrorFest is bringing screams into season at Shady Brook Farm! Don't miss the area's premiere haunted event that encompasses 4 spine-tingling attractions: The Hayride of Horror, Barn of Horror, All New Alien Invasion and DeadTime Stories-Haunted Corn Maze.

The Count’s Halloween SPOOKtacular! At Sesame Place

Sesame Place celebrates Halloween with The Count. This event is fun for the whole family to enjoy together! Guests are invited to visit Sesame Place dressed in costume, trick-or-treat throughout the park, walk through Count's castle, see the characters dressed in costume, hayrides and enjoy the ALL NEW Halloween themed Elmo’s World Live Show. Weekends only!

Midnight Productions presents Haunted House in the Hollow, Field of Fright & Sleepy Hollow Hayride at the Active Acres Haunted Farm in Newtown! 17 open rooms fill the house with secret passages, a cemetery and a walk through crypt... weekends only in October!

Trick or Treat every weekend through the month of October! Wear a costume and receive admission for only $7! America's Most Horrifying Woods!  Three chilling Halloween season attractions include the Original Haunted Hayride, two Haunted Houses and the Valley of Fear haunted forrest maze. Don't miss this Halloween fright!

Hay Maze Days & Halloween Spooktacular at Giggleberry Fair at Peddlers Village

Giggleberry Fair presents fall family fun! The entire family can enjoy a safe and fun hay maze on Saturdays and Sundays through November 8th, and family-friendly Halloween Spooktacular activities on October 24. New this year! Hay Maze Days for kids every Saturday & Sunday in October. Halloween Spooktacular activities include Pumpkin Painting, Face Painting, Balloon Sculptor on October 24th! Children are encouraged to wear their costumes!

Ghost Tours of New Hope

Experience one of the most haunted towns in the region with the Ghost Tours of New Hope. Follow a lantern led walk through picturesque streets where you’ll learn about the phantom Hitchhiker who may pass you in the moonlight or the historic inn where Aaron Burr may stare at you with sightless eyes. Tours offered June through November, every Friday and Saturday nights in October!

Pumpkinfest at Moravian Pottery & Tile Works

Pumpkinfest is in its' 18th year and attracts 25,000 people over the course of the two days. Our event showcases area artists carving giant 100-300 pound pumpkin. Live musical entertainment on two stages, games, food, storytelling and childrens activities!

October 23rd
Mercer’s Night Tales at Fonthill Castle

Tour the castle to learn about Henry Mercer's love of detective and gothic literature, including the works of Edgar Allen Poe. The program concludes with a special dramatic telling of Poe's The Tell-Tale Heart by popular local actor, Grover Silcox.

Gaggles of Ghosts and Ghouls at Peace Valley Nature Center
Hauntingly wonderful guides will lead you on an eerie fun walk through the "haunted" trails of PVNC! Our spooky characters will expose myths about spiders, snakes, bats, cats and ghosts. Get warm by the fire, enjoy toasty marshmallows and cider.

Haunted Halloween Trains aboard the New Hope & Ivyland Railroad

Take a ride on the dark side onboard the Haunted Halloween Train. Do you trust yourself to be at the mercy of your own nightmares? When this ghost train leaves the safety of the station, you are tossed into the hands of the unknown.

Trick or Treat Trains aboard the New Hope & Ivyland Railroad
Bring the kids to ride aboard this spooky train. Children of all ages are encouraged to come dressed in their favorite Halloween costumes, helping to make the train a scary sight. Afterwards, trick or treat around the New Hope train station for more surprises!

Halloween Harvest Festival on the Middletown Grange Fair Grounds

Hayrides, moonbounce, pumpkins, face painting, fun & games for children of all ages!

All that Remains: A History of Cemeteries and Funeral Customs at Mercer Museum

Just in time for Halloween, historian Bruce Stocking "unearths" the fascinating history of graveyards and funerary rituals, from ancient Egypt through the 19th century. Registration Required

Spirits of the Past Tours in Historic Fallsington

Experience the unimaginable, ghostly visitations and tales from the past! Lantern-led spirit tours through the 300-year old historic village of Fallsington begin at the Gillingham Store continuing on the half hour. Meet a host of village spirits from the 18th century including Mrs. Martha Richie Moon mistress of the Moon-Williamson Log House, Maylon Ricky proprietor of the Stagecoach Tavern and storyteller extraordinaire whose heart titillating tales will make anybody stop and look uneasily over their shoulder; and Mrs. Abigail Brown Lippincott wife to Dr. Henry Lippincott the village’s venerated doctor.

Mercer by Moonlight at the Mercer Museum
What lurks in the shadows of the Mercer Castle? Discover the history and folklore of some of the museum's more chilling and ghoulish objects, including a hearse, gallows, "witch" doctor's canes, brooms and more on this seasonal nighttime tour. Appropriate for ages 8 and up.
