Bucks County, PA- Come celebrate St. Patrick’s Day early! The Bucks County Visitor’s Center, 3207 Street Road, Bensalem, will be hosting an Irish and Scots-Irish Ancestry Research Lecture and Book Fair.

    10:30am – 4:30pm
    Registration begins at 10am

    Boxed Lunch- $6.50

Lectures will provide methods to use Irish records to research the Irish and Scots-Irish to all levels of researchers. Whether you are new to research in Ireland or experienced in the complexities of it or your interests lie in either the north or south- this lecture will offer a bit of knowledge for everybody! Savor some Irish treats in the morning, enjoy a box lunch or bring your own.

The Ulster Historical Foundation, principal genealogical research agency and a leading publisher of historical, educational and genealogical source books will be providing us with two expert presenters, Dr. Brian Trainor and Mr. Allan Leonard. Many of these books will be available for purchase at the event.

About the Presenters
Dr. Brian Trainor is the Research Director Emeritus of the Ulster Historical Foundation and a former Chief Executive of the Public Record Office of Northern Ireland. Mr. Allan Leonard, an avid genealogist, is the Operations Manager of the UHF. Mr. Leonard was born in America, but is a fifteen year resident of Ireland. His knowledge bridges both Irish and American sources. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from the experts!
