Romance is in the Air…
The Inn at Bowman’s Hill Receives Love from Forbes Traveler!

Selected as One of the Top 10 Most Romantic B&B’s!

(Bucks County, PA) Romance is thriving in our own backyard! The Inn at Bowman’s Hill in New Hope was selected by Forbes Traveler as One of the Ten Most Romantic B&B’s from among inns across the USA, Europe and Mexico in 2009!

The selection was recommended by Karen Brown, author of Karen Brown's Guidebooks, including 17 titles covering Europe and regions in the U.S. and Mexico. Brown hand-picked accommodations across the globe from her publications over the last 30 years.

The Inn at Bowman’s Hill was described as a “Pennsylvania estate behind private gates…with a conservatory offering a tropical, warm feel and a vine covered terrace as a shady retreat…”

“Your room can be a haven in its own right," Brown said. Room to read, fireplaces and well-appointed bathrooms are all high on her list.

With six lavishly appointed rooms & suites, The Inn at Bowman’s Hill doesn’t shy away from the word luxury. Rooms are draped in Italian tiles and king size feather beds, some with private verandas and sweeping views of the orchard, pond or illuminated fountain. Guests are pampered with countless choices of relaxation…in the summer swim or lounge by their resort style heated pool or warm body and soul by a fireplace in winter. And who could forget their amazing multi-course English style breakfast or daily à la carte choices! Truly an Inn for all seasons!

Since opening in 2005, The Inn at Bowman’s Hill has received significant recognition. The Inn was for example, a recipient of the prestigious AAA 4 Diamond Award for a second consecutive year in 2009 and was again recommended this year by Condé Nast Johansens.

“There are of course hundreds, if not thousands, of romantic B&B Inns both across the US and in Europe” stated Michael Amery, Owner of The Inn at Bowman’s Hill, “... and while the natural beauty of Bucks County and unique character of New Hope do make this a very special place to live ... this recognition by such a prestigious organization as Forbes Traveler was great news and incredible good fortune that will hopefully benefit the whole area.”

Amery added, “I think I am going to buy a lottery ticket!”

“This is a great testimony to the passion of our residents and business owners to remain loyal to the true meaning of hospitality and the quality of service we provide to our visitors.” Stated Jerry Lepping, Executive Director of the Bucks County Conference & Visitors Bureau. “We are thrilled to receive such a distinguished honor.”
