The holiday season has arrived in Bucks County! The area’s most popular attractions are debuting family-favorite holiday productions and light shows all over the County.
Hop aboard Santa’s Steam Spectacular this weekend at the New Hope and Ivyland Railroad for a family-fun trip with hot cocoa, cookies and PJs galore. Check out the premieres of two family-friendly Bucks County holiday shows, The Bucks County Playhouse’s Ebenezer Scrooge’s Big Playhouse Show and the Bristol Riverside Theatre’s An American Christmas Songbook. Plan a trip to Tabora Farm and Orcahrd to build the perfect gingerbread house, plus visit Santa for brunch at The Market at DelVal, The Bucks Pub and The Buck Hotel.

The North Pole Express and Santa’s Steam Spectacular at the New Hope & Ivyland Railroad
All aboard the North Pole Express! Join Mr. and Mrs. Claus as you depart from New Hope Station for a North Pole Express train ride in a vintage diesel locomotive through historic Bucks County. The Bucks County Playhouse is taking one of the most beloved holiday stories ever told, A Christmas Carol, and putting a comedic, Bucks County spin for the world premiere of Ebenezer Scrooge’s Big Playhouse Show. Perfect for the entire family, follow Scrooge as he terrorizes the folks of Bucks County in this hilarious retelling of the Charles Dickens classic.

Gingerbread Competition & Display at Peddler’s Village
More than 50 creative and uniquely themed gingerbread houses have arrived in Peddler’s Village, helping to officially kick-off the holidays in the village. Vote for your favorite cookie home and enjoy Peddler’s winter wonderland as you dine and shop your way through tons of whimsical boutiques.

2017 Holiday Light Show at Shady Brook Farms
View more than three million lights as they illuminate the acres of farmland during Shady Brook Farm’s Holiday Light Show. Hop in your car or enjoy the open air of a wagon ride as you trek through the two-mile trail, featuring festive displays and wintry sights. Warm up with some hot cocoa, take a picture with Santa and pick out the perfect Christmas tree to take home while you visit!

12th Annual Bucks County Holiday TreeFest
Visit Bucks County’s annual TreeFest returns to the Bucks County Visitor Center in Bensalem, inviting locals to view uniquely themed trees from some of Bucks County’s best attractions. This weekend’s events include performances by Brick Door Productions Holiday Cabaret, Bucksmont Squires of Song, Q-Man Trio, Delaware Valley Saxophone Quartet, The Neal Williamson Quartet, as well as a visit by Santa for Santa Sundays. Washington’s Crossing Reenactment
During the first crossing event, hundreds of troops in uniform perform a reenactment just as they do on Christmas Day. In addition, special colonial-era activities and demonstrations throughout the historic village provide your family with a full day of fun and learning. Winter Wonderland Holiday Decoration Tours at Fonthill Castle
