In this time of political uncertainty, Bucks County Audubon Society has brought back our Advocacy Committee and is committed to helping the general public be more involved and educated about environmental policies and decision making. BCAS has started an Action Night on the 1st Thursday of the month where participants will learn from a professional about an environmental issue and then learn to write efficient "Letters to the Editor/Congressman"!
This month, December 7th, BCAS and Stephanie Wein, Water and Conservation Advocate with Penn Environment will speak about the effects of neonicotinoids on pollinators and the PA Pollinator Protection Plan. Our letters will be primarily geared towards the Department of Agriculture. Please bring laptop/tablet/phone/etc... and use our Wi-Fi to write your letters and send them out!
This event is free, so bring your friends!
