Renowned as the home of James Michener, Pearl Buck, and Margaret Mead, there is no better setting than Bucks County, Pennsylvania for an annual celebration of the art of writing, the joy of reading, and the coming together of well-known authors and their eager devotees.
More than 40 professionally published authors will appear at the Bucks County Book Festival, a Discover Doylestown event.
Events include a Children's Festival, which will take place at the Doylestown Fire Company during its Fire Prevention Open House and will feature award-winning authors and illustrators and fun activities. Writers at all stages of their craft can attend a Writer’s Workshop led by published authors, a certified personal and professional coach, and a literary agent. Adults and teens can enjoy adult and YA fiction and nonfiction author panels. The event also includes keynote speakers, including a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, and book signings for book lovers young and old.
