Renowned as the home of James Michener, Pearl Buck, and Margaret Mead, there is no better setting than Bucks County, Pennsylvania for an annual celebration of the art of writing, the joy of reading, and the coming together of well-known authors and their eager devotees.
Twenty professionally published authors will make their way to Doylestown the second weekend in October for this Discover Doylestown event. Festival organizers are working with several New York publishing houses, including Penguin Random House and Simon and Schuster, to schedule a line-up of well-known writers who have recently published books.
During the Festival, book lovers young and old can expect to meet some of their favorite authors, attend panel discussions, key-note presentations, book signings, a writing workshop, Saturday night Lit Crawl, and more.
