Quakertown’s annual Christmas Tree Lighting is a family-friendly fun evening in our downtown to welcome the holiday season. As people gather in the downtown center on the 200 – 300 blocks of West Broad Street, families can shop our downtown merchants, enjoy the traditional free cookies and hot cocoa at Sine’s 5 &10, enjoy our unique vendors and treats, and sing Christmas carols along with the QCHS Varsity Singers. Santa Claus arrives at 7PM on a Quakertown fire truck to light the Borough Christmas Tree. Other Activities Include: - Live Nativity presented by East Swamp Church - Carols sung by the Varsity Singers and St. Isidore Children’s choir as well as Strolling Victorian carolers - Harley Hill alpacas
