Colonial Wreath-Making Workshop
Learn how the colonists would have decorated their homes for the Christmas season—and take home a colonial wreath of your very own! Washington Crossing Park staff will help you create a special wreath that resembles those made by colonists in George Washington’s era. Participants should come ready to roll up their sleeves and create a wreath. We recommend bringing gardening gloves and wire-cutters. Additional embellishments are welcome, but we will provide wreath frames, greens, and historically accurate decorations like pine cones, bows and ornaments. Lunch will be provided; please advise of any food allergies or dietary restrictions in advance. Space is limited and advance registration is required. Please call the Visitor Center to register.
