We invite you to enjoy a romantic evening of fine dining on the rails as it was during the golden age of rail travel. The New Hope & Ivyland Railroad is nestled in Bucks County’s premiere destination, New Hope, PA. A picturesque Delaware river town chock-full of niche shops, resturants & more, a fitting locale for a day out with friends & family.
This two hour event will begin with the first course served stationary in our First Class Parlor Car. Thirty minutes into your dinner, the train will depart for a one and half hour roundtrip excursion over the line that connected New Hope with Philadelphia in 1891. The historic ride winds through the Bucks County woods, along once vital waterways and across numerous open deck trestle bridges.
You will dine in the railroads early 1900’s first class parlor car, enjoying a carefully prepared gourmet meal by our kitchen staff, served by the railroads uniformed attendants. Note: Proper dinner attire is required. No jeans, shorts or t-shirts are permitted. Advance reservations are required. This excursion is for adults age 18 years and older.
Important instructions for meal service excursions: Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time. The first course is served 30 minutes prior to departure.
