Get Ready to Laugh as Notable Playwright Stages Hilarious Short Plays In Doylestown.
The afternoon features talented comic actors performing a series of readings at the historic James-Lorah Auditorium in the heart of Doylestown. The plays include an incompetent superhero who struggles with insecurity, a job interview at a funeral magazine that quickly veers into the absurd, two lions discussing their diets, a retelling of the Adam and Eve story featuring a Cockney serpent, and more. “People of all ages will get a laugh from these plays,” McDonnell says.
The characters are played by experienced comedic actors who are well known to audiences in the Doylestown/New Hope/Lambertville region and beyond.
