Join the Friends of the Bucks County Historical Society for their quarterly program, called “Jazz and the Great Migration. The program is a musical, cultural, and programmatic exploration of the movement of millions of African Americans to urban Northeast, Midwest and West. The Program will be presented by Joshua Alan V Lee, a graduate student in jazz, and his Ensemble of jazz musicians from Temple University. The presentation features a narration and example of styles of music from the inception of jazz to present day. Dessert will be followed by a short business meeting and the featured program.
