Take a walk down Meetinghouse Road in Solebury to discover and explore a National Historic District and visit one of three National Historic Landmarks in Solebury. Along the way, learn about the Quakers who settled Solebury, the thrilling (and chilling) and stories of flamboyant past residents. Visit includes the hidden Sugan Lake where risqué boat parties were held as well as ties to the Underground Railroad. The 1-1/2 mile walk begins Solebury Friends Meeting and ends at the Audubon Visitor Center where light refreshments will be served. Transportation back to Solebury Friends Meeting will be offered for people who do not wish to walk back.
