BUCKS COUNTY QUILT SHOW
Our annual Bucks County Quilt Show runs through August 30, 2017 at the Bucks County Visitor Center. This show is your chance to view the extraordinary workmanship, artistry and talent of Bucks County’s quilters, for free!
The Quilt Academy and a number of other Bucks County quilters submitted a beautiful selection of their work. More than 100 quilts are on display inside the Main Gallery.
Visit Bucks County had the chance to interview one of the quilters featured in the show. Watch the video below to meet Eve Vallorani of the Newtown Quilters Guild. Then attend the show to see the rest of these beautiful masterpieces in person!
Quilting is alive and well in Bucks County with quilt guilds and fabric stores that provide classes, long arm quilting and quilting notions, books, etc. We also encourage you to attend “The Mary Schafer Collection: A Legacy of Quilt History" on display through August 13, 2017 at the Mercer Museum. There will also be a lecture by Meg Cox, quilter and author, about celebrating milestones and life events with quilts on July 27. You can also shop hop several quilt shops in the area to participate in 2017 Row by Row Experience.
