In the Tyson family for 157 years, Stonebrook Farm was long used as a working dairy farm. In the late 70's the dairy cows were sold and the future of the farm was quite unknown. William Scott Tyson and his wife Barbara were able to acquire the farm in 1981 and continued the process of restoring and maintaining it. Over the years it has become a gathering place for the Tyson's church and youth group, as well as many community groups. When the Tyson children were teenagers, it even housed a Christian Dance Party reaching up to 250 teens monthly. In 2014 the Tysons were granted approval from Bedminster Township to become an event venue.
