The Historical Society of Hilltown Township showcases the 1800's Hartzel-Strassburger Homestead, Tenant House (now a museum), a state recognized Pennsylvania ramp barn with attached carriage/wagon house, and the ruins of a black smith shop. These buildings and beautiful grounds were placed on the National Registry of Historic Places in 2017 as the "Reuben & Elizabeth Strassburger Farmstead" for their architectural details, historic significance, and as a prime example of how early county living, commerce and transportation interacted.
