Honey Hollow Environmental Education Center

The property consists of trails, meadows, ponds, wetlands, and streams. Located on the property is a 1936 renovated barn that serves as the visitor center, as well as an old mill and a spring house. The Honey Hollow Watershed is listed as a National Historic Landmark. Bring your group to explore the natural world through experiential, hands-on field activities and cooperative learning games. Field trip curriculums are designed to correspond with the PA Department of Education Academic Standards for Environment and Ecology. Numerous Scout programs rare available. BCAS educational staff can design a program according to the specific needs of your group.

  • Days & Hours of Operation: Trails are open 365 days a year, dawn to dusk. Honey Hollow Environmental Education Center is open Mon through Fri 10am to 5pm. The center is open some weekends for special events and programs. Saturday morning guided bird walks at 8am.
  • Deposit policy: Groups pay according to size and program on the day of the event. In certain circumstances, a deposit is required. Call 215.297.5880 for program planning.
