Welcome to the 2015 Farmers Market season! Bucks County's wonderful farmers markets are now opening, with several starting in late April and the remainder opening during May and early June. There are now 9 seasonal farmers markets in Bucks County!

While Bucks County has always been known for its agriculture, much of what has been grown in the past were commodity crops like corn and soy for feed. But over the last decade, the county has experienced an influx of young farmers eager to produce healthy, sustainably-grown and -raised food. And you can find it all at our seasonal farmers' markets and year-round farm markets.

Most farmers markets in Bucks County are now selling a wide array of goods, all grown or produced in Bucks or nearby. Locally grown vegetables and fruit, of course, but also delicious baked goods; grass-fed beef, pasture-raised pork, poultry, and lamb; free-range eggs, cheeses and yogurt from pastured animals; local unprocessed raw honey, maple syrup; jams, jellies, condiments and sauces; organic, fair trade, locally roasted coffees; prepared foods; flowers and plants; hand-made soaps and lotions, and artisan and handcrafted goods; and natural dog food and treats.

Here's a listing of seasonal and year-round farm markets in Bucks County. Most of the markets take place rain or shine. Some have email lists, a great reminder as well as source of what will be selling in the market that week.
