Captured by Instagram User @cindydemorephotographyIt was a beautiful summer afternoon when my sister-in-law (a former Bucks County resident) was visiting from Houston, TX. We decided to go into New Hope and Peddler's Village for an afternoon of shopping, lunch, and scenery. One of our stops included Bowman's Tower. It was exciting to climb the tower and take in the amazing views. You can't help but think about George Washington while you are surrounded by the history. After stopping at the Bowman's Wildflower Preserve at the foot of the tower to take in the beautiful flowers and birds, we then went onto the Van Sant Covered Bridge and the Delaware Canal. Being a Bucks County resident all of my life, and raising my sons here, I have such a great appreciation for the history, charm, culture, arts, beautiful scenery and sunsets Bucks County has to offer. I never go out without taking my camera with me.
