Bucks County is known for their sweet treats and unforgettable ice cream. Owowcow Creamery has been a family favorite of mine since I was little! USA Today has recently awarded Owowcow Creamery as the third best ice cream shop in the United States and the best ice cream shop on the east coast! This is huge news as these organic, signature flavors have brought a smile on many people's faces since 2009.
Owowcow has five locations with three of them in Bucks County, PA. The Bucks County locations are in Chalfont, Ottsville, and Wrightstown. Owowcow has insanely unique ice cream flavors to choose from, as well as dairy free sorbet and vegan ice cream options. All of their ingredients are made from scratch onsite from local organic cream, fruits, and baked goods to help support local agriculture. They even have their own popsicle specialist that hand fills and hand dips each and every pop to perfection!
Whether it’s a seasonal flavor you’re looking for or you're always in the mood for one of their signatures, Owowcow has a something for everyone to enjoy! My go-to is the Blueberry Lemon which is a fruity and sweet with the perfect mix of blueberry and lemon. Another one of my favorites is the Cookie Monstah, a sweet cream base with butterfly pea powder and their homemade chocolate chip cookies crumbled in.
If too many flavors are catching your eye and you don’t know which one to choose, just get the Cow Flight! The Cow Flight includes five small scoops of your choice, which makes it great to share with friends or just for yourself. Another option is their ice cream sandwiches, which are house baked with their signature or seasonal flavors! The ice cream sandwiches are one of my favorites because you can add any flavor catching your eye to a warm cookie.
There are treats for the entire family… that includes dogs too! The pup cup frozen treat includes healthy ingredients like sunflower butter. Give it a try on your next visit!
