The Dawn Drapes

Inspired by melody, harmony, and groove driven rhythm, Michael Sanzo and Daniel Rice penned their first release as The Dawn Drapes in 2014. Their roots in American and British folk music drive their songwriting style, while their musical influences range vastly from Alex Chilton and The Replacements to Animal Collective and Pink Floyd. Deep grooves, smart hooks, and thoughtful vocal harmonies shine through, rounding out their full and balanced sound from song to song.

Through the Lens: Modern Photography in the Delaware Valley

Brand new exhibit! Through the Lens explores nearly 70 years of artistic experimentations with photographic processes and subject matter by artists in the Delaware Valley region. With work ranging from carefully hand-painted, bucolic landscapes to decisive snapshots taken on the street, Through the Lens highlights distinctive work in the Michener’s photography collection, including many that have never before been on view.

Let’s see what we can catch in the creek! Grab your stream shoes and team up with the park naturalist for a morning of watershed education. Historic Pidcock Creek was and is still the main source of power for the Thompson-Neely Grist Mill. Help identify the aquatic insects and other creatures that live within the creek.

African American Museum of Bucks County Exhibit

The African American Museum of Bucks County, (AAMBC), is pleased to bring its exhibit, "Building on the Dream: From Africa to Bucks County" to The Parry Mansion Museum.  See the museum's collection of artifacts from Africa and learn about the culture, contributions of African Americans in Bucks County and beyond. The museum not only recognizes well known historical figures but seeks to bring to light untold stories and hidden figures in Bucks County today.

New Hope Celebrates 2021 Pridefest

NHC is planning numerous events that can be experienced safely throughout May and June. The NHC Board is working on creating a variety of events to support our local community, encourage people to come OUT, and celebrate who they are. The events include the Annual Best Cocktail Contest which will be extended to 3 weeks to allow more time for participants to safely enjoy their cocktails and vote, our Annual Flag Unfurling on May 8th., several drag shows, a book club event, mental health events, cocktail socials, a Pride bike ride, a Pride drive-in movie, and more!
