Peddler’s Village invites visitors to its Spring Fling – allowing shoppers to stroll its winding brick pathways as you sample seasonal cuisine, watch live entertainment and enjoy a drink or two along the way. Bristol’s Centre for the Arts is hosting “Bloom!”, an art show featuring floral inspired works that are surrounded by beautiful floral arrangements from the area’s talented local florists. Visit the James A. Michener Art Museum for a unique concert entitled “Recycled Sound”, featuring talented percussionist Dendê Macêdo and his assortment of instruments made from recycled materials.

Recycled Sounds is a project that developed out of world renowned percussionist Dendê Macêdo’s interest in making instruments out of found materials. Visit the Michener Art Museum to watch Macêdo incorporate his trove of instruments including a bucket shekere, a golf club berimbau and a tire drum, all of which are made from found materials. Reservations are required.

Lorax Reading and Hike at Peace Valley Nature Center
