Keith Haring: A Radiant Legacy

Keith Haring (1958-1990) was arguably the most accomplished and prominent American artist of the 1980s. This exhibit is a private collection of more than 100 works, the show contains unique and notable pieces.

Penndel-Hulmeville Memorial Day Parade

The parade will march onto Ford Avenue and then turn right onto Main. It will then follow Main to Hulme Avenue and Hulme to Bellevue.

Doylestown 5k Race

Free Jazz Concert on the River

The Triple Ts, a jazz-fusion trio based in Philadelphia, will play a mix of original music and jazz standards. The band has played several times at the park and the theatre, in addition to touring the U.S. in support of its album, The Sessions: Vol 1.

Sherlock Holmes Murder Mystery

Grab your spyglass and your deerstalker hat! Match wits against world-famous sleuth Sherlock Holmes as he unlocks the secrets of a maddening case. Old Lord William Conan, the famous art collector and philanthropist, has died suddenly and under mysterious circumstances.

Wheat & Sheep Day

During this event, attendees will see sheep being shorn of their winter wool coats and be able to follow the process of washing and carding the wool and spinning it into yarn. Tours will also be given of the restored Thompson-Neeley Grist Mill.

Memorial Day Weekend Celebration at Sesame Place

Rock out with Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Cookie Monster and Count von Count, as their music fills the air and the sky is covered with colorful bursts of brilliance. Be sure to watch us paint the sky red (and green and blue) from inside the park.

Memorial Day Ceremony

The observation will include a colonial color guard, fife and drum music, Revolutionary War reenactors, veterans, and other honored guests. At the ceremony, the Daughters of the American Revolution will dedicate a plaque at the original gravesite of 24-year-old Captain-Lieutenant James Moore.

American Jade

The first Asian-American actor to win an Emmy, Jodi Long breaks barriers even as she follows in her family’s footsteps. Jodi’s Chinese-Australian, tap-dancing father and Japanese American mother were a popular nightclub act in the 1940s and ‘50s on the Chop Suey Circuit and were invited to appear on “The Ed Sullivan Show.”

Graves at Washington Crossing Historic Park

Doylestown Memorial Day Parade

Bring the whole family for this annual tradition. The parade will march along W. Court Street from Central Bucks West High School to Clinton Street. It will then follow State and Main Streets before turning onto E. Court Street and concluding at the Doylestown Cemetery.

Langhorne Memorial Day Parade

Ceremonies begin at 9 a.m. with the parade kicking off at the end of the ceremonies. American Legion Auxiliary 148 will be collecting donations along the parade route for the Veterans Group of Philadelphia, Delaware Valley Stand Down and homeless veterans.

The Croydon VFW Post 1597 Memorial Day Parade

The Croydon VFW Post 1597 Memorial Day Parade will take place on Monday, May 30th at 11:30 a.m. Lineup will begin at Cedar Avenue and State Road at 11:00 am. Parade proceeds along State Road to Croydon VFW Post 1597 on Bellevue Ave. and will be followed by a Memorial Ceremony.

Yardley Memorial Day Parade

The Yardley Memorial Day Parade will step off at 11 a.m. on State Road and heads to the VFW Post at 901 Bellevue Avenue in the Croydon section of Bristol Township.
