Scarecrows in the Village
For eight fun-filled weeks, one hundred scarecrows dot the brick pathways of our autumn-tinted Village. Some are inspired by famous characters, some are humorous, some are scary – but all of them are carefully handmade by Philly-area residents and organizations.

The Count’s Halloween Spooktacular

Fall Excursion
On the Fall Excursion, passengers will enjoy a 2-hour round-trip excursion through scenic Bucks County. Passengers will ride aboard beautifully restored vintage (early 1900’s) passenger coaches while a narrator will provide you with interesting historical facts and stories of significant cultural locations along the route.

Snipes Fall Festival

High Heel Drag Race
A long-standing tradition and highlight of the fall season in New Hope, this year’s theme is All that Glitters Are Ghouls - Bewitching beauties who sparkle, shine and know how to have a scary good time!

Ghosts and Spirits Bike Tour
On this ghostly bike tour along the D&L Canal to Yardley, you'll visit a stop on the Historic Underground Railroad and learn about a bloody corset and suspicious pistol found in mysterious chamber. If you're lucky we may even see some pumpkin carving. It'll be scary fun!

Trick or Treat Train
Enjoy the trip, while participating in the live reading of Spookley the Square Pumpkin. Cheerful, seasonal songs will also be performed by one of the railroad’s musicians. After arriving back in New Hope, passengers will have the opportunity to trick or treat around the station platform for more treats and surprises with our costumed characters!

93rd Juried Art Show at Phillips’ Mill
The show features the work of over 100 artists and sculptors with work ranging from the traditional to the contemporary to the abstract, and draws art lovers and collectors from Philadelphia to New York.

Founders & Fellows
Located in Foundation House (c.1925) in the historic English Village at Phillips Mill, the birthplace of Pennsylvania Impressionism and the New Hope School, Founders & Fellows will present a pictorial overview of the original New Hope Artist Colony and the artistic legacy of its Founders William Lathrop, Edward Redfield, and Daniel Garber.

New Hope History Walking Tours
Take this expertly guided walking tour to see the places and hear the tales that make New Hope such a fascinating place. The tour is approximately one mile long and lasts about one hour.

Dreams of Freedom
Dreams of Freedom: The Threads That Hold Us Together was organized by the Sankofa Artisans Guild (SAG) and includes quilts and mixed media submitted by artists and crafters from around the country. The quilts depict scenes and themes honoring Tubman’s life and legacy.
