Friday Night Recess At The Michener
School’s out on the traditional museum as Michener Museum makes way for a very special TGIF featuring local musical performances, interactive gallery tours, snacks, drinks, and a few surprises. Bring your BFFs or your playground crushes and experience a transformed Michener Art Museum.

Celebrate Art! Exhibit Opening Reception
Bristol High School and Harry S. Truman High School join the Artists of Bristol (AOB) on the Delaware in an annual exhibit titled, Celebrate Art! During the four-week exhibit, the public may vote for the People’s Choice Award for both the student and AOB categories, as well as purchase the art.

Into The Mystic: A Tribute To Van Morrison
Drawing from his complete collection of works, Into the Mystic seeks to recreate the spirit and energy of Morrison's music. Led by vocalist Justin Panigutti (formerly of Bearquarium), this show is comprised of some of the area's finest musicians and portrayers, coming together to produce an evening of Van Morrison's finest work—a musical experience not to disappoint.

The Return Of Red Rover Revue - Nerd Nite Edition
After some months in hibernation, The Red Rover Revue is back to bring Burlesque to Bucks County, celebrating some of the best nerdy burlesque (Nerdlesque) from the NYC and Philadelphia area. Inspired by comics, movies, or space, this show will be in your face and full of entertainment!

Comedian Vinnie Brand
Comedian Vinnie Brand returns to the Newtown Theatre! This show is for mature audiences only. Brand opened the Stress Factory Comedy Club in 1991 in New Brunswick, NJ, which has featured headliners like Drew Carey, Chris Rock and others. He has also made television and radio appearances. Beer, wine and concessions will be sold prior to the performance.

Interactive Murder-Mystery Dinner Theater? Yes, please! Join Sam, Diane, Carla, and Cliff as they mourn their longtime friend, Norm, at his wake. Omar Sosa & Yilian Canizares "Aguas Trio" Feat. Gustavo Ovalles
Pianist Omar Sosa and violinist-vocalist Yilian Canizares have come together to create Aguas, a beautiful and very personal album. Featuring their compatriot, percussionist Gustavo Ovalles, Aguas reflects the perspectives of two generations of Cuban artists living outside their homeland, interpreting their roots and tradition in subtle and unique ways.

Selma Bortner: The Journey
Selma Bortner, an innovative printmaker and beloved art professor at Bucks County Community College, drew upon folklore and myth with bold and colorful, graphic imagery that still resonates strongly today. To celebrate Bortner, who passed away in August 2019, this exhibition features some of the artist’s most iconic prints from her family and the Michener’s permanent collection.

Bucks County Wedding Show
Join us for a one-of-a-kind wedding showcase featuring all of Bucks County’s finest venues and professional wedding services! From river and lakeside mansions to romantic bed & breakfasts, lush wineries, countryside barns and historic venues – this is the only show featuring many Bucks County venues under one roof as well as professional service providers. Enjoy food and beverage tastings along with several D.I.Y. and entertainment sessions and a fashion showcase.

Building On The Dream: From Africa To Bucks County
The exhibit pays tribute to the lives, culture, accomplishments and contributions of African Americans in Bucks County, featuring a timeline of events in African American history in Pennsylvania and the history of the Underground Railroad in Bucks County.

Chamber Music Concert

Miss Nelson Is Missing - A Family Theatre Production Adapted By Jeffrey Hatcher
A great show to introduce the kids to theater; sweet Miss Nelson is just too nice. Her classroom is chaotic and her students are out of control. One day, she disappears, and her class is now being taught by mean, tough-as-nails Viola Swamp. Miss Nelson's class realizes how much they miss her, and they set out to uncover the mystery of her disappearance.

Ponstingl: Dreams of Past Futures
Ponstingl’s work represented in this exhibition spans the 1960s until the late 1970s. Inspired by dreams, his work in the 1960s recalls the work of Salvador Dalí and other Surrealist painters, and in the 1970s, he experimented with abstract patterning. A recurring theme in his paintings are visions of abandoned, future civilizations. His work can be seen at the Michener for a limited time only!
