Join us in welcoming Lynne Anne Donchez as she discusses and signs copies of For The Love of Hats Wednesday, May 31st, at 6:00 PM. Model Monica Carr will join us to model a selection of hats. This is an in-person event. Books will be available for purchase at The Doylestown Bookshop on the day of the event.

About the Book:

For the Love of Hats showcases dozens of chic and unique hats from the collection of Lynne Anne Donchez, professional hair stylist, salon owner, teacher, and hat connoisseur of Bucks County, PA. Her hat collection spans cloches, pillboxes, and fascinators to pork pies, Mr. John hats, and men's toppers. The book also intertwines some of Lynne Anne's fond memories about individual hats and stories of their origins.

About the Author:

Lynne Anne Donchez has enjoyed a successful career in hairdressing as a stylist, salon owner, and teacher. She trained for make-up in New York City and operated her popular Doylestown, Bucks County, salon for 40 years. She has spent numerous spare hours in local ballet and theater companies designing makeup, hair, costumes, and of course, hats! This book represents only a fraction of her extensive hat collection, woven together with entertaining stories and her favorite advice about hat etiquette.
