25 Days of Holiday Cocktails to #DrinkInBucksCo

December brings festive parties, sparkly decorations, smiling faces, bountiful food and of course, plenty of delicious drinks. #DrinkinBucksCo with friends and family at these restaurants and bars serving up creative cocktails for a limited time this winter that will leave you dancing under the mistletoe this holiday season!

1. Margaritas, Mules & More at The Perk in Perkasie

  • The Grinch

The Clark Griswold is known as the most festive of all Mules. It has Jameson Irish Whiskey, Pomegranate juice and ginger beer. It’s finished with sugared, snowy rosemary sprigs and cranberries. Jack Frost Margarita will keep the chill off of you. Camarena Silver Tequila, Blue Curacao, white cranberry juice, lime and house orange sour with a blue sugar rim make up this cool, blue drink. Cranberry Christmas Mule is made with Boardroom spirits fresh cranberry vodka, ginger beer, cranberry juice, and lime with fresh mint and sugared cranberries.

Perk's Poinsettia Juice is far from juice. It’s a holiday Sangria made with Cabernet, Absolut vodka, St. Germaine, lime juice, house orange sour, and ginger beer, with fresh oranges and cranberries. Winter White Cosmo uses Tito’s Handmade Vodka, St. Germaine Elderflower, Cointreau, lime juice, white cranberry juice and cranberries. The Grinch is made with vodka, melon liqueur, Blue Curacao, pineapple juice, red sugar on the rim and cherries. This Grinch isn’t going to steal Christmas!

2. Sugar Cookie Martini at Iron Oven in Southampton

This martini will sweeten your holiday! It’s made with Baileys, Vanilla Vodka, amaretto and milk with vanilla icing and a sprinkle rim. Not looking for sweet? Freshen up with a Peppermint Martini, which consists of Godiva Chocolate Liqueur, crème de menthe and a candy garnish.

3. Gingerbread Martini & More at Steam Pub in Southampton

The Gingerbread Martini uses Salted Caramel Vodka, house-made gingerbread syrup, cinnamon-cream liqueur, rimmed with buttercream icing and dipped in crushed gingerbread cookies with whipped cream and a gingerbread man. The Grinch Martini is made with cherry vodka, melon liqueur, lemon-lime soda, fresh squeezed lemon and garnished with a cherry. Or, try Apples Roasting on An Open Fire, which is a hot apple cider with Fireball cinnamon whiskey and a cinnamon stick.

Milk and Cookies is a special midnight snack, but it’s not for Santa. It’s made with Cookie Dough Vodka, dark chocolate liqueur, hazelnut syrup and sweet milk, topped with whipped cream, chocolate syrup and a chocolate chip cookie. Spiked Eggnog uses eggnog fresh from Tanner’s Farm, spiked with almond liqueur and cinnamon liqueur, then topped with a dash of cinnamon. Winter Wonderland is hot chocolate spiked with mint liqueur, topped with whipped cream, chocolate syrup and a peppermint bark Oreo cookie.

4. Rudolph & More at Ground Round in Langhorne

Warm up with a cool Snowflake Martini made with vanilla vodka and coconut liqueur. Vanilla ice cream gets mixed into this concoction and the rim gets covered in coconut! The Santa Clause Martini rides into town with cherry vodka, grenadine, Chambord and red jimmies surrounding the rim!  Don’t forget The Grinch also known as the Apple Martini with Apple Pucker, vodka, triple sec and a green jimmy rim! Rudolph is a frozen mixed drink with flavors of coconut rum, amaretto, grenadine and Pina Colada flavoring then garnished with cherries and chocolate chips. 5. Hat Trick Blazer at Pat’s Select Pizza & Grill in Warrington

Grab the Signature Blazer Cocktail called Hat Trick Blazer from the bar, which owner Pat calls “The Cage.” The hot beverage has flavors of exotic pineapple-infused rum from Barbados, cinnamon-infused green apple cider and homemade lemon-lime juice. Pat’s Select sponsors celebrity mixologists every 3-4 months from Europe!

6. Edgar Allan Poe themed cocktails at Stella of New Hope

Stella Bar Manager Clancy Smith named his winter creations after Edgar Allen Poe’s poems and short stories.  The Angel of the Odd is made with vodka, lemon, brown butter caramel and sparkling apple cider. The flavors make it taste like a caramel apple! Evening Star is made with light rum, coconut, cinnamon and hazelnut with grated dark chocolate and a mini marshmallow skewer which the bartender flambés!

Devil in the Belfry is a mixture of gin, plum, winter berries, thyme and tonic. The Valley of Unrest uses vodka, lemon, rosemary and a cherry. The cherry is in the form of a large cherry ice cube which, when melted, gradually changes the color and flavor profile of the cocktail.

7. Santa’s Little Helper at Bubba’s Potbelly Stove Restaurant in Quakertown

Help yourself to Santa’s Little Helper! It’s a martini with Absolut Grapefruit Vodka, grapefruit juice and cranberry. Or, warm up with the Fireball Cider in a rocks glass with fresh apple cider and Fireball Whiskey.

8.  Candy Cane Martini at Faraco’s Pizzeria & Restaurant in Quakertown

What’s better than pizza? How about pizza and an adult beverage! Pair your saucy, cheesy meal with Glühwein. This hot, spiced mulled wine is popular at Christmas festivals in Germany. You could also order the Apple Cider Sangria, which is a cinnamon-apple sangria with white wine and fruit.

End your pizza dinner with a Candy Cane Martini made from vodka, Rumple Minze, and a candy cane rim!

9. Rhinestone Cowboy at Maxwell’s on Main in Doylestown

The Rhinestone Cowboy at M.O.M.’s bursts with flavors of tequila, ginger liqueur, agave nectar, honey syrup, grapefruit juice and lime juice with burnt rosemary on top.

10. Eskimojito at Dog & Bull Brew & Music House in Bristol

Eskimojito is made with Hewn Shipmate Rum, orange bitters, white cranberry, simple syrup, lime juice, mint leaves, and an orange slice. The mix gets served in a sugar-rimmed mason jar with ice, topped with ginger ale, and garnished with fresh cranberries. Cheers!

11. Autumn Sangria at The Washington House Hotel & Restaurant in Sellersville

The Autumn Sangria at this Victorian restaurant is made with white wine, brandy, apple cider, apple, pear, orange and a cinnamon stick. See live music at the Sellersville Theater before your drink, or after!

12. Very Cherry Christmas Martini at Continental Tavern in Yardley

Catch a Snowflake Martini here! It’s made with vanilla vodka, Godiva Chocolate Liqueur, half & half and a sugar rim. The Sugar Cookie Martini also uses vanilla vodka, but with Irish cream, amaretto and milk. Reindeer Tracks Martini has chocolate vodka, Frangelico, crème de cacao and half & half. Treat yourself to a Chocolate Peppermint Stick with chocolate vodka, white crème de cacao, half & half, peppermint schnapps, and grenadine. Very Cherry Christmas Martini will make you cheery with flavors of cherry vodka, Irish cream, Godiva chocolate liqueur and half & half. Lastly, try the Cranberry Mojito, which gets served with cranberry juice, then garnished with mint and cranberries.

13. Jack Frost at Riegelsville Inn Restaurant & Pub in Riegelsville

Take a ride with Jack Frost. This drink is made with your choice of vodka, as well as Blue Curacao, coconut rum and pineapple juice; it’s served with a sugared rim. Hungry? Pair this holiday cocktail with zoodles (zucchini noodles) in smoked tomato au jus with roasted red peppers, marinated artichoke hearts, broccoli rabe, baby spinach, garlic, pickled onion, roasted mushrooms and lamb lollipops on top! 

14. Sugar Cookie Martini at The Horse Tavern and Grill in Sellersville

Order the Vanilla Pear Cocktail with pear vodka, pear puree and vanilla bean or a Sugar Cookie Martini. Yum! Make it a night and stay the night at the nearby Washington House Hotel.

17. Spiked Cider & More at Martine’s Riverhouse Restaurant in New Hope

The Holiday Mule at this riverside restaurant is made up of pine syrup, cranberries, Stateside Vodka, ginger beer and a smoked spruce tip. Pearway to Heaven is a mixture of pear puree with Barr Hill gin, honey simple syrup, a lemon wedge and a rosemary sprig. Warm Apple Cider gets spiked with your choice of Laird's AppleJack, Captain Morgan Rum or Jack Daniel's. Enjoy these holiday cocktails with beautiful views of the Delaware River!

18. Apple & Fig Jam Mule & More at The Grey Stone Fine Food & Spirits in Newtown

Want to test your palate? The Apple & Fig Jam Mule uses EFFEN Vodka, muddled apple, fig jam, limoncello and ginger beer. Warm & Fuzzy will leave you feeling just that! Knob Creek Rye, Domain de Canton Ginger, lemon and pomegranate make up this cocktail.

19. Peanut Butter & Cherry Manhattan at Isaac Newton’s in Newtown

The Peanut Butter & Cherry Manhattan gets served in a rocks glass with cherries, Skrewball Peanut Butter Bourbon, sweet vermouth and a dash of Angostura bitters. Enjoy it at Isaac’s and then take a stroll through historic Newtown where you can visit the Newtown Theatre or the Newtown Bookshop!

20. Newton’s Law at Bowman’s Tavern in New Hope

Find Newton's Law at Bowman’s Tavern! This drink is made with Bulleit Bourbon, apple cinnamon shrub (syrup), allspice dram liqueur, egg white and nutmeg.

21. Caramel Apple Martini at Bowman’s North in Riegelsville

Bowman’s North offers a Caramel Apple Martini made with Smirnoff Kissed Caramel, Apple Cider and Apple Pucker this holiday season. Mix sweet and fruity in this holiday favorite.

22. Cranberry Vanilla Fizz at Hops/Scotch in Doylestown

She's Apples is a white sangria made with Apple Brandy, Chablis, and a house made cinnamon apple syrup. Warm up with Spiked Hot Chocolate, a house hot chocolate recipe with candy cane infused Boardroom Vodka. Hops/Scotch also has a Coquito, which is a traditional Puerto Rican coconut "eggnog," made with coconut cream, cinnamon, brown sugar, vanilla and aged rum. You can add Glög to your list of drinks to try. It’s a mulled wine made with Cabernet, brandy, golden raisins, almonds, cardamom and orange zest. Other holiday drinks here include a Green Walnut Manhattan made with Northbound Rye Whiskey, Boardroom Nochino and walnut bitters as well as a Cranberry Vanilla Fizz with house made cranberry syrup, vanilla vodka, lemon juice, club soda and rosemary.
