Pine Valley Covered Bridge

  • Old Iron Hill Road
  • New Britain Twp
  • Chalfont, PA 18914

At the intersection of New Britain Borough, New Britain Township and Doylestown Township, Pine Valley Covered Bridge crosses Pine Run on Old Iron Hill Road. Because of its location in a more populated area, this bridge does get quite a bit of traffic. There is a small park at the foot of the bridge, making this a great spot to pull over and get a better look at the bridge. Built in 1842 of native hemlock and pine, this bridge is also known as "Iron Hill Bridge." It crosses Pine Run Creek, which was named after the hardy neighboring pine trees.
