Stella of New Hope, the riverside restaurant, got its name and logo from a one-eared loveable rescue pitbull. As a puppy, Stella fell into the lives of restaurant owner Sherri Daughterty and her daughter, Tara, back in April 2015 from the streets of Bethlehem. Today, restaurant visitors can dine outdoors alongside their furry friends and even order off a specialized dog-friendly menu. All proceeds from the “Pup Menu” are donated to the Animal Alliance of New Jersey.  

Dog and Bull Taphouse & Kitchen 

Dog and Bull Taphouse & Kitchen in Croydon prioritizes the highest quality food and drinks, much like we do for our pets! Their “For the Pups” menu consists of a choice of chicken or beef with rice, alongside a “pupsicle” for dessert. Let your dog tag along for outdoor dining and a truly unique brunch. The restaurant’s name comes from the 18th century Dog & Bull public house in England (now known simply as “The Dog”) whose adjacent yard was previously used as a pound for stray dogs and livestock but has since been converted to a beer garden.   

Saint Rocco’s Treats  

Inspired by a love of dogs and the tale of Saint Rocco, brothers Kolby and Kaleb Rush dedicate their time to creating dog treats with human-grade and non-harmful ingredients at Saint Rocco’s Treats in Pipersville. Saint Rocco, the patron saint of dogs, was a 14th-century doctor who fell ill while caring for others. Legend says a dog nursed him back to health by licking his wounds and bringing him food, a story that symbolizes the loyalty and healing bond between dogs and humans. View our recent visit here!

This firehouse tavern’s name pays homage to a beloved family dog, as well as a rich history. Seated in Point Pleasant, Boo’s Firehouse Tavern has the perfect welcoming and cozy atmosphere that comes with the charm of a renovated firehouse. Me and My Dog Pet Bakery 

Your dog will love you if you stop by Me and My Dog Pet Bakery in New Hope. Here, dogs are spoiled beyond belief. The family-run small business has invented clever dog treats with names such as “woofles” and “em-paw-nadas” that not only taste delicious but are also nutritious. Let your pup indulge in dog-friendly Cheez-its, peanut butter and banana stuffed pretzels, or even a beef and cheese “wrap” with peanut butter filling. 

Village Grounds Café  

Housed in Paw Print Village of Bensalem, Village Grounds Café is the perfect place to grab delicious coffee and a meal. The cozy café is fully nonprofit, with proceeds going towards The Bridge Clinic and Rescue Purrfect. Despite the cat-forward names, dogs are just as welcomed here!
