Doylestown is a beautiful town and a spectacular place to plan an entire day all year round if you have friends coming into town or when you want to wander the many streets! Since I was a child, coming to. Doylestown has always been one of my favorite places in Bucks County to eat, shop, and explore! Here is a full plan your to have an unforgettable memories:
9:00 AM- BREAKFAST
Start the morning off with a relaxing breakfast or delicious coffee. Native Cafe is a great stop right on Main street with delicious coffee, matcha, and lattes. With a relaxing feel inside, you can sip your drink with an avocado toast or a breakfast sandwich!
Nourish by MAMA is another fresh and cute breakfast place with a great breakfast that will get you ready for the day like their Mexican Breakfast Burrito and Jumpin’ Monkey smoothie.
11:00 AM- EXPLORE
Explore all of Doylestown and what it has to offer with the amazing scenery and museums in town. The Michener Art Museum and Mercer Museum are two amazing spots located in the heart of town and are a great spot to admire the art and history behind it. Check out the new Doan Gang Exhibit that is located at the Mercer Museum!
A local tip: explore the secret garden called Star Garden! This hidden gem is great to enjoy the weather and the perfect place to sit and admire the beautiful mosaic of different colored broken pieces of glass! These stops are great locations to get a deeper look at Doylestown.
12:00 PM - QUICK BITE
After exploring Doylestown, you're going to be hungry and trust me, there are tons of good stops to choose from. Doylestown has so many flavorful dishes to try, so whether you want a good lunch or a sweet treat, the options in town are endless!

Lovebird's is known for their chicken sandwiches and nuggets. Their side dishes like the fried pickles and hand cut fries are great with their lovebird sauce. Lucatelli’s Pizzeria is an amazing pizza shop with great appetizers, salads, strombolis, and of course, pizza. Known for its Barstool appearance, this pizza is amazing and so fresh!
2:00 PM- SHOPPING
With tons of small businesses and local shops, Doylestown has a variety of places to shop from clothing, jewelry, and music, making it the perfect place to shop for everyone! Shopping in Doylestown is amazing as you meet amazing local business owners and get your shopping in!
Serendipity, located right on Main Street, is the best place to find cute Doylestown gear like sweatshirts and hats! Siren Records is the place to be if you love music or collect vinyls. Here, you can shop hidden records or collect some of your favorite artists or bands! Payton Jewelry is a great jewelry store where you can get permanent bracelets with your friends or family members or even create custom necklaces or bracelets!
3:00 PM- MORE EXPLORING
The exploring doesn't stop there in Doylestown! Whether it is historical or adventurous, there are still tons of activities to do when there! The Fonthill Castle will make you feel like you are in an actual princess castle. Home of Mercer himself, this beautiful castle has open guided tours for people to come and explore.
5:00 PM- DINNER
Maxwell's on Main in Doylestown is a great place to eat with a group of people! M.O.Ms has amazing fried pickles for everyone to eat and great burgers.
Terrain Cafe is a great dinner spot that makes you feel like you're eating in a magical garden. With unique dishes, Terrain has a wide variety of options for everyone to choose from.
6:00 PM- MOVIES
Finish your day by seeing a movie at the County Theater! This classic movie theater has been around for awhile and is one of my favorite views in Doylestown. With movies always playing, grab some popcorn and a soda and enjoy a movie after a long eventful day in Doylestown!
