Meredith Edlow is a freelance digital content producer, photographer and videographer in the Philadelphia region. She’s also a professor at Temple University, teaching audiovisual news gathering in the Klein College of Media and Communication. Recently, Time Magazine's photo department, TimeLightbox, named Meredith Edlow one of the Top 51 Instagram Photographers of 2016, representing Pennsylvania. Edlow has worked producing digital content in Philadelphia for over a decade and cut her teeth on production, managing logistics for large scale events and location managing for two feature length Philadelphia productions. For over five years, she worked for Visit Philadelphia, producing destination marketing content. During her time as a visual assets manager for Visit Philadelphia, Edlow produced photography, ground-breaking destination video content and teamed up with Visit Philadelphia staff and local journalists to launch the incredibly popular Visit Philadelphia Instagram account, @visitphilly. Meredith’s past experience also includes shooting general assignment photography and spot news as a freelancer for Philadelphia news outlets including the Philadelphia Daily News and Inquirer, and has been a contributor to WXPN's The Key. Her work has been published in outlets around the globe, online and in print.
