Summer Concert Series

Bucks County Recorder of Deeds Book Tour
Come to the Bucks County Visitor Center for a Book Tour put together by The Bucks County Recorder of Deeds office. These preserved books dating back to 1684 will be kept protected for another 500 years, thanks to the Recorder of Deeds, Robin Robinson!

Stop by and browse the breathtaking artwork in Peddler’s Village. You won’t be able to miss the eight large inflatable pieces on display which represent bright and colorful heads! This unique artwork is a part of The Janis Project, created by famous artist Frank Hyder.

The Bucks County Art Hotel Exhibition – Albert Van Nesse Greene
Take a look at The Bucks County Art Hotel’s second collection of art at the Centre Bridge Inn located in New Hope! Come see a collection of paintings by Albert Van Nesse Greene (1887 – 1971), known to be a phenomenal Impressionist painter in Pennsylvania. The Bucks County Art Exhibition will be open to the community during hotel and restaurant hours. After browsing the artwork make sure to have dinner, listen to live music and even a drink to have a relaxing Friday evening!

Making Astronauts: Bucks County to the Moon
Just in time for the 50th anniversary of the historic Apollo 11 moon landing, the Mercer Museum will be showcasing a major summer exhibit, Making Astronauts: Bucks County to the Moon. This original exhibit, created in collaboration with the Johnsville Centrifuge and Science Museum, highlights the extraordinary role of the Warminster-based Naval Air Development Center (NADC) Johnsville in America’s early space program. From Mercury to Apollo, the NADC helped train the astronauts who ultimately achieved putting a man on the moon by the end of the 1960s.

From Here to There
Join us for a new traveling exhibit, From Here to There, a hands-on, family experience that explores the science of how things move from place to place. From Here to There is color-coded and divided into three main categories: transportation by land, sea and air. Twelve different educational interactive stations provide an engaging opportunity for guests to learn about gravity, friction and the laws of motion and physics. Guests can ride a hovercraft to experience how air pressure works, turn up the heat to launch a hot air balloon, send colorful balls through rushing channels of air to get from one station to the next and much more.
