Radical Americana at Andalusia
Andalusia Historic House, Gardens & Arboretum is an exhibiting partner of Radical Americana, a series of exhibitions organized by The Clay Studio and other arts and cultural institutions in the Philadelphia area. Contemporary artists working with craft materials — such as wood, clay, fiber, glass, and metal — will display their art in historical settings throughout the region, including the Big House at Andalusia.

Tile Mosaic Exhibitions
Check out a series of historic Mercer mosaics, re-issues from the tile floor at the Pennsylvania State Capitol building, including Washington Crossing the Delaware, The Signing of the Declaration of Independence, and The Liberty Bell. The tiled pavement in the Pennsylvania State Capitol, designed by Henry Chapman Mercer, features close to 400 mosaics illustrating Pennsylvania history through scenes, native artifacts, indigenous flora and fauna, and colonial crafts & industries.
