Remembering Linda Salley
Visit Bucks County mourns the passing of Board member Linda Salley. “Linda accomplished great things for all of us here in Bucks County. Her warm personality will be deeply missed, but the legacy she created through the African American Museum of Bucks County will continue to inspire and educate visitors and residents alike,” said Visit Bucks County Chair Doug Miller.
Linda was the driving force behind the African American Museum of Bucks County. She helped grow the museum from a traveling “pop-up” exhibit into a permanent museum dedicated to preserving and sharing Black history in Bucks County. The museum’s permanent home at Boone Farm in Middletown Township is scheduled to open this summer.
