@VisitBucksPa, the official Instagram account for Visit Bucks County, has reached 30,000 followers! Thank YOU for all the #ExploreinBucksCo love and support.
To celebrate this exciting milestone, Visit Bucks County teamed up with the Mercer Museum and local artist Emily Hartung. We created a vibrant sidewalk chalk mural complete with the #ExploreinBucksCo hashtag and a covered bridge illustration. As you can see, Henry Mercer’s six-story concrete castle served as the perfect backdrop. Talk about Instagram worthy!
Located in Doylestown, the Mercer Museum showcases local and national traveling exhibits as well as more than 40,000 early American artifacts. Tours of the Mercer Museum and neighboring Fonthill Castle are open to the public.
The artist for this project, Emily Hartung, is a graphic designer, illustrator, and painter. She is currently a graphic designer at an advertising agency in Philadelphia. When she isn’t designing, she is usually watercolor painting or searching for her next DIY project to craft! Learn more about Emily at emilyhartungdesign.com.
