As of May 21, take-out cocktails are legal to purchase in Pennsylvania. House Bill 327 is designed to help restaurants, bars and hotels that continue to struggle during the coronavirus pandemic since they needed to shut down their dine-in services. Lucky for us, now, thirsty patrons can safely sip their favorite beverages to-go! Find a beverage at one of these local establishments…
1. Buckingham Valley Vineyards & Winery
This family-owned business originated in 1966. Ever since, the family members are dedicated to growing and making the best quality of wines by using old world methods and modern technology. The winery is now offering their popular wine slushie curbside! Place an order online or give a call to set a time and date for pickup. The menu changes weekly with slushie flavors like Strawberry Pinot Colada and Strawberry Lemonade.
2. Triple Sun Spirits
This tasting room in Newtown is known for its liquor that features fine and fresh ingredients local to the area. You can bring the handcrafted cocktails and spirits into the comfort of your own home by selecting a 32 oz growler of Margarita (Original, Passion Fruit or Wild Berry), Moonshine Lemonade, Pear Sweet Tea and Rum Punch. Curbside is available through the online ordering platform or calling.
3. Washington Crossing Inn
This charming and historic country inn and restaurant outside of Washington Crossing Historic Park is a true Bucks County restaurant that offers continental cuisine with a traditional American flair. If you are ordering from the take-out menu, be sure to complement your meal with the restaurant's signature Crossing Margarita. Everything can be preordered by phone call!
4. Pineville Tavern
This historic restaurant in Pineville also offers authentic American fare with an antique bar in an 18th century building. Homemade beverages include their Cucumber Vodka Cooler, Italian Gin and Soda, Watermelon Mojito (pictured), Blueberry Rum Runner, Apple Punch and Raspberry Whiskey Tea. Available as kits, you can bring home, add ice, and enjoy! Call ahead to pick up with no contact take out.
