2. Goat Yoga at Hellerick’s Adventure Farm

Goat yoga, anyone? At Hellerick’s Adventure Farm, located in Doylestown, there is so much year-round fun, including goat yoga. On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, their certified yoga instructors will lead you through a session, while you get an up-close and personal encounter with the goats as they sniff, snuggle, and possibly climb on your back. Not interested in goat yoga? No problem! Enjoy a 30-minute activity inside the goat pen where you can pet, play, and shower affection on their friendly goats.

Ross Mill Farm Pigs

3. Mini Pigs at Ross Mill Farm

Get ready for oink-redible moments with these little piglets! Recognized nationally as experts of keeping pigs as pets, Ross Mill Farm, located in Jamison, is the perfect place to get your dose on piggy cuteness. Experience a fun-filled afternoon at their annual Mini Piggy Palooza with 165+ pigs, entertainment, piggy paintings, and a chance to cuddle with piglets. Or, take a guided tour of the grounds of the farm where you will learn about its rich history and how it became the “Home of the Pet Pig.”

 

4. Fly Fishing at Tyler State Park

If you’re feeling drawn to the water, come visit Tyler State Park, located in Newtown, and try your hand at fishing in Neshaminy Creek. When fishing in Neshaminy Creek, you’ll most likely come across sunfish, black crappie, carp, smallmouth bass, and panfish. Tyler State Park allows visitors to fish along the banks of the creek or fish on the lake in a kayak. If you're looking for something other than fishing, Tyler is also a great park to bring your dog and go for a hike and taking in the charm and beauty of Bucks County’s nature!

5. Cows at Tanner Brothers Dairy Farm

Located on the corner of Almshouse and Hatboro Roads, Tanner Brothers Dairy Farm serves some of the freshest ice cream in Bucks County. Made on site, Tanner Brothers ice cream is a local favorite that people flock to once summer hits. Alongside the creamery is Tanner Brothers Farm where you can spend the afternoon looking at the cows while enjoying your ice cream. Make sure to snap a few pictures!

 

6. Alpacas at Bucks County Alpacas

Alpaca your bags for a good time and head over to Bucks County Alpacas, located in Bedminster. At Bucks County Alpacas, you have the chance to see an informational, educational, and hands-on presentation on the history of Alpacas, sustainability, and fiber. Visitors can feed the alpacas hay, or, if interested, can walk an alpaca. Once you’ve become best friends with the Alpacas, walk on over to their gift shop where you can pick up some alpaca products such as hats, scarves, gloves, and socks.

7. Sheep at Thompson-Neely Farmstead

Located at the Thompson-Neely Farmstead, hang out with Washington Crossing Historic Park’s sheep. These sheep predate modern-day industrial agriculture and have long, durable, lustrous wool. Visitors can experience fun events like their annual Wheat and Sheep day where the Thompson-Neely sheep are shorn of their wool and guests can take a tour of the grist mill.
