A Short & Sweet Bucks County Itinerary

Bucks County – "when did you get hot all of a sudden?" Bucks County is filled with small-town charm, unique shopping, fantastic attractions and is home to our friends, Sabrina Carpenter and Gigi Hadid.  If you’re visiting us for the first time, or want to do a Sabrina-inspired Bucks County weekend, here are some "slim pickins" to check out.

Take a "House Tour"

"Do you want the house tour?" Henry Mercer’s house, that is. Located in Doylestown, Fonthill Castle was built between 1908 and 1912, and was designed and built by Mercer himself. With more than 44 rooms, 32 stairwells, 18 fireplaces, 21 chimneys and 200 windows, Fonthill is one of the most unusual homes you will ever visit. During the holiday season, Fonthill Castle gets dressed up with beautifully decorated trees in every room.

Grab a cup of "Espresso"

"Working late cause you’re a singer?" Bucks County "leaves quite an impression" with the "taste" of our espressos and coffee shops. Check out Pretty Bird Coffee in Yardley, A Latte Café in Quakertown (where Sabrina is from!), Mama Hawk’s Kitchen & Coffee in both Peddler’s Village and the Michener Art Museum, and Johnson Hall Coffee House in Hulmeville. Make sure to grab something to eat at one of our delicious eateries.

Sip On Your "Go Go Juice"

There are plenty of places to check out to get your "go go juice" fill in Bucks County. Sip your way through by stopping at one of our beautiful vineyards, like Bishop Estate Vineyard & Winery, located in Perkasie, and Crossing Vineyards & Winery, located in Newtown. Live "The Life of a Showgirl," Babe

"Thank you for the lovely bouquet," Sabrina! Bucks County is home to amazing theatres that put on wonderful productions all throughout the year. While exploring New Hope, catch a show at the Bucks County Playhouse, who has hosted celebrities like Dick Van Dyke, Grace Kelly, and most recently, Frankie Grande. Check out the Newtown Theatre for movie screenings and amazing live entertainment. During the holiday season, see The Nice List at Bristol Riverside Theatre and Christmas With The Rat Pack at Sellersville Theater.

Keep it (Short and) Sweet

"Put your lovin' where your mouth is" because this "sugar talking" will work on me! While strolling through the charming Peddler's Village, check out Skip’s Candy Corner, recently named one of the top candy stores in the U.S. by USA Today, and Nina’s Waffles & Ice Cream for something sweet, just like our hometown girl.
