Summer fun doesn’t have to come with a high price tag! If you are looking to explore Bucks County, soak in the sun, or just try something new, then this list is for you. Here are some of the best free things to do in Bucks County, PA this summer.

1. New Hope Summer Series Fireworks & Block Party
On July 11, August 1, and September 5, join the New Hope, PA community as fireworks light up the sky. Starting at 5 P.M., check out the block party on Stockton Avenue between East Bridge Street and West Ferry Street before watching the fireworks at approximately 9 p.m. This block party includes local vendors, art displays, and an outdoor beer garden with live music. Each date this year includes a drone show along with the free fireworks display.

2. Ringing Rocks Park
This park is a must visit for nature lovers. Bring a hammer and strike the rocks to hear bell like sounds. In addition to these musical rocks, this park also offers over 100 acres of hiking trails, Bucks County’s largest waterfall, and picnic tables for a full day out.

3. Peddlers Village Safari in Sand
The annual Peddlers Village sand castle display is back, and this time it’s getting wild. Experience safari animals like you’ve never seen before, built into sand sculptures! This free display is on view now through August 31, featuring sculptors from Team Santastic and sculptures by John Gowdy. After viewing these sand sculptures, take a stroll through Peddler's Village, named the #2 shopping center in the country! Explore all the shops, eateries, and landscaped gardens that attract visitors from far and wide.
4. Middletown Grange Fair
This year's Grange Fair takes place from August 13 to August 17. Enjoy local food vendors, see farm animals, and participate in events such as the annual Tractor Pull. Parking is $20 per car, but admission to the fair is free!
5. Outdoor Concerts
This summer, enjoy a budget friendly date night at a free outdoor concert. Northampton Township Parks & Recreation Sights and Sounds of Summer Concert Series is here with free admission. Concerts are held at the Northampton Township Municipal Park, 281 Hatboro Rd, on every Thursday starting June 5 and ending August 14. Music will start at approximately 7 P.M. Concert goers can also enjoy Music Off Main in Yardley now through July. Now until July 27, Buttonwood Park in Yardley, PA is hosting live concerts every Saturday 6 - 8 P.M. and Sundays 2 - 4 P.M. at the intersection of Main Street and Afton Avenue. 7. Covered Bridges

8. Peace Valley Lavender Farm
Visit Doylestown's Peace Valley Lavender Farm for the beautiful sights and smells of lavender. Free tours are available for groups of 10 to 30 people that last 60-90 minutes but must be booked in advance! Pick your own bunches are also available weather and season permitting.
