Bucks County Oktoberfest

Oktoberfest started in 1810 as a weeklong wedding celebration in Munich and spread to a worldwide annual event. Nowadays, most Oktoberfest events are actually held in September because the days are longer and the weather is better! With many of its residents descended from German immigrants, Pennsylvania is well known for its Oktoberfest celebrations. If you’re looking to celebrate Bavarian culture in Bucks County, here are some of our favorite places to grab a beer and a brat.

Peddler’s Village

The shops and grounds of Peddler’s Village come alive with a weekend of German music and entertainment, food trucks, a beer garden, and family activities. While you’re there, enjoy more than 100 scarecrows scattered throughout the village and vote for your favorite.

Neshaminy Creek Oktoberfest, September 26, 2026

This celebration is about more than just good food and beer, though both will flow for seven hours at the Oktoberfest hosted at Neshaminy Creek Brewing Co. You’ll be serenaded by live music from Polkadelphia and invited to participate in Bavarian games of skills such as stein hoisting, a yodeling contest, and more.
