Holiday Open House at the Old Library by Lake Afton

The Old Library by Lake Afton in Yardley is always at its very best during the holidays.
The highlight is the expansive model train layout with tooting engines, clattering cabooses, and a trolley. With familiar buildings, landmarks, and billboards, the railroad scene evokes Yardley's past and present.
Standing tall will be a real fir tree decorated with handmade ornaments that are reminiscent of a winter day on Lake Afton - skaters, mittens, snowflakes, geese, ducks, turtles, and fish.
Old fashioned cut out cookies and mulled cider will be offered to all and "Yardley" gifts can be purchased.
In the spirit of the season, the Holiday Open Houses are free.
