3. Meet Snuffy and Celebrate 50 Years of Sesame Street at Sesame Place

Welcome Mr. Snuffleupagus, aka “Snuffy,” to Sesame Place all summer long. The newest (and biggest!) neighbor to the kid-friendly amusement park will be joining in on the many fun activities planned for this summer as the hit television series the park is based off of is celebrating their 50th anniversary!

4. Celebrate LGBTQ+ at the First-Ever Doylestown Pride Festival

5. It’s Back! Wine on the Waterfront at Washington Crossing Historic Park

Returning to the banks of the Delaware River, Wine on the Waterfront will take place on Saturday, July 27 at 4 p.m. and feature live jazz music, food vendors, and tastings from dozens of Pennsylvania wineries, many of which can be found along the Bucks County Wine Trail!

6. Feel (Better than) Blue at the Bluegrass & Blueberries Festival

Keep the fruit fun going by celebrating National Blueberry Month at Peddler’s Village! Stop by for the freshest locally grown blueberries in the Peddler’s Village General Store selling blueberry pies, butters, jellies, and preserves. Dance along to live Bluegrass and Country bands playing live throughout the village.

7. Pick fresh flowers at Peace Valley Lavender Farm

Tis the season for lavender! This purple favorite that only blooms in the summer is fresh for the picking at the gorgeous flower farm in Doylestown overlooking Lake Galena. Pick up lavender-scented soaps, culinary lavender and more inside their gift shop while you’re there.

10. Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon Landing

The Mercer Museum in collaboration with the Johnsville Centrifuge and Science Museum will exhibit Making Astronauts: Bucks County to the Moon, highlighting the extraordinary role of the Warminster-based Naval Air Development Center that helped train the astronauts who ultimately achieved putting a man on the moon in the 1960’s! Then, walk across the street to the Michener Art Museum to see the exhibit The Color of the Moon: Lunar Painting in American Art, featuring more than 50 works of art depicting the moon.

11. Sip up Seasonal Flavors along the Bucks County Wine Trail

Follow the Bucks County Wine Trail to taste the flavors of the summer season. Encompassing hundreds of acres of vineyards with beautiful views and bountiful grapes, book a tour individually with each or hop aboard the Tastings and Tours bus! Experience ‘Sip & Savor Sundays’ on June 2 and June 16 to celebrate Bucks County Wine Month.

12. View Local Art at the 70th Tinicum Arts Festival

Join in on an Upper Bucks County tradition and gather with friends to view the works of more than 180 regional artists in the Art Barn. After viewing the art, listen to music in the shady picnic grove while sipping on fresh-squeezed lemonade from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

15. Rev Up Your Engine at the 62nd Annual New Hope Automobile Show

The New Hope Automobile Show is a Bucks County tradition. This two-day show features the finest foreign and domestic classic and antique vehicles. Nationally recognized judging standards are employed for each marque. Proceeds benefit local scholarships and charities.
