Join the County Theater of Doylestown on the third Thursday of each month on the green of the Mercer Museum for a family-friendly series of outdoor film screenings. The Mercer Museum and The County Theater, in partnership with The Moving Picture Cinema, bring outdoor movies to the community, with the 2021 Movies at the Mercer Museum series.

Taste the flavors of the summer season. Weekends in June, travel through our Village neighborhoods and enjoy live entertainment, food, and children’s activities. Peddler’s Village shops will be open until 8 p.m. on Saturday. Admission and parking are free. Event is rain or shine.

- Doylestown Pride Festival
Doylestown welcomes the return of our Pride Festival on June 13 - 19th, 2021. With the goal of celebrating diverse sexual orientations and gender identities in the Doylestown community, a collection of local organizations and businesses came together to create this local tradition. The multi-day event will feature a series of Outdoor Film Screenings, Pride Music Day, and various pop-up events and celebrations throughout the community.

- Measurement Rules at the Mercer Museum
Measurement Rules explores the meaning of size, height, length, weight and volume through a variety of hands-on activities like giant tape measures, treadmill odometers, balance scales and more! This playful exhibit, perfect for young children, teaches the fundamentals of measurement through fun questions like, “How many chickens do you weigh? How tall are you in apples or inches or pennies? Can you use your foot as a ruler?”

- Fruit at Bluegrass & Blueberries in Peddlers Village
Keep the fruit fun going by celebrating National Blueberry Month at Peddler’s Village! Stop by for the freshest locally grown blueberries in the Peddler’s Village General Store selling blueberry pies, butters, jellies, and preserves. Dance along to live Bluegrass and Country bands playing live throughout the village.

- New Hope Auto Show
The New Hope Automobile Show is a Bucks County tradition. This two-day show features the finest foreign and domestic classic and antique vehicles. Nationally recognized judging standards are employed for each marque. Proceeds benefit local scholarships and charities.

Tis the season for lavender! This purple favorite that only blooms in the summer is fresh for the picking at the gorgeous flower farm in Doylestown overlooking Lake Galena. Pick up lavender-scented soaps, culinary lavender and more inside their gift shop while you’re there.

A World Premiere starring and written by Candace Bushnell, NY Times Best-Selling Author and creator of “Sex and the City” and staged by BCP Artistic Associate and Broadway’s (“Mrs. Doubtfire”) Lorin Latarro. From her arrival in New York City alone with $20 in her pocket, to working her way up the ladder, to secrets behind the creation of Sex and the City and finding herself single again in her 50’s … the always provocative Candace Bushnell has a lot to say about sex, feminism, fashion, Cosmopolitans, Manolos, girlfriends, men and New York City!

15. See the Exhibit "Through the Lens: Modern Photography in the Delaware Valley"
Through the Lens explores nearly 70 years of artistic experimentations with photographic processes and subject matter by artists in the Delaware Valley region. Considered through the lenses of Form & Figuration, Landscape, Community, and Social Activism, approximately 100 photographs by Paula Chamlee, Edmund Eckstein, David Graham, Susan Fenton, Emmett Gowin, Diane Levell, Jack Rosen, Charles Sheeler and others demonstrate a diversity of styles and approaches. With work ranging from carefully hand-painted, bucolic landscapes to decisive snapshots taken on the street, Through the Lens highlights distinctive work in the Michener’s photography collection, including many that have never before been on view.

Join us on the grand porch of The Big House, overlooking the Delaware River, for a glass of champagne and light refreshments. Kristin Biddle will give a guided tour of the formal gardens, returning you to the Big House for a chance to relax, or stroll The River Walk. Open Saturdays provide special opportunities for you to visit Andalusia Historic House, Gardens and Arboretum on weekend days when these historic grounds are typically closed to the public. Stroll the grounds at your own pace and take in the beauty of Andalusia’s gardens. Tickets purchased advance online.
